WHAT ARE WH OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES?
At The Woodhouse Farm, we have always believed that nature has the power to uplift one's mood from despondency to joviality. The divine beauty of nature has a healing effect on our aching souls. The blue sky, the orange sunset, the white clouds, the green meadows, the silvery rivers and moon, the vibrant rainbow and flowers- all of these colourful entities make our lives life poly-chromatic and full of fun, peace, joy, and serenity.
WH Outdoor Experiences was born from the same strong desire to help our guests connect more deeply with the beautiful natural surroundings of The Woodhouse Farm and the Kumaon Region.

IN AND AROUND
THE WOODHOUSE FARM
Shoonya as a word could be translated as “emptiness,” though the English word “emptiness” does not do justice to Shoonya. Shoonya is not an absence – it is a limitless presence. Over ninety-nine percent of an atom is empty. Ninety-nine percent of existence is empty. This is what we refer to as Shoonya. As the life that you are, you have a choice: Either you can be a small creature in this vast emptiness, or you can be that emptiness which is the source of all creation. That is what we are approaching with Shoonya, our Yoga deck at The Woodhouse.
When your body, your mind, your emotion, your energies are in tune with each other and you feel wholesome within yourself, that is when you feel healthy. Practicing healthy living has always been at the core of our concept and food is one of it most important aspects. We have been growing a lot of the vegetables, that we use while cooking, at the farm. Take a walk around the premises and you will find everything from Tomatoes, Radish, Capsicum, Cucumber and Corns to Rosemary, Black Gram and Black Soyabean (also known as Bhatt). The next time you visit us, pluck your own vegetables and let our in-house chef do the magic.
